This is an authentic pre 1900 Turkish Oushak. It measures 6’1” x 4’.
This fine and rare Turkish rug was made c 1890 in the Art Nouveau that was in vogue in Europe at the time.
Lovely colors. The vegetable dyes have softened with time.

This lovely rug is an exciting find for me. A beautiful and well preserved Turkish Carpet C1890. Hand knotted wool on cotton foundation. All vegetable dyes. Center medallion and scrolls of flowers and vines. A stunning Antique. Like a perfect Turkish Serapi. Rare and fine.
