Antique traditional oriental rug. Village made from wool dyed with vegetable and mineral color ants. The wool if hand knotted on a cotton foundation. It is nearly 100 years old a shows signs of light antique wear. Colors have softened and are beautiful.
Very durable rug. Can withstand heavy traffic. It will only get prettier and increase in value. No holes . Ends in good shape. One Selvage has wear. Beautiful a rash of vegetable dyed colors.
No holes, odors, stains, Floor ready. The rug is known as a Bijar. They are nicknamed “ the iron rug” because the weave can stand up to lots of traffic.
This rug is a bargain and Lon time investment.
